Tips about training for a cooper run (12 mins) and running shoes, for flat feet?

Well, In around May I will be running a Cooper run, which is 12 mins volley a track, every hundred meters marked out, and to get above the execellence group i need to run 2800+M, Im looking to hit around 3500M, and Currently could possibly just scrape
